How to make cream cheese frosting without sugar
How do you make a cream cheese frosting without using sugar? Easy! Use a sweetener instead, such as erythritol. Or an erythritol and stevia blend. Check out our guide on the side effects of erythritol. We'd only recommend these 2 sweeteners, as others can spike your blood sugar levels.
Is cream cheese keto?
Cream cheese is certainly keto friendly and is a must for anyone on a keto or low carb diet. So there's no need to feel guilty whilst you eat a nice healthy dollop of that philadelphia cream cheese or using it for frosting on that big keto birthday cake you've made!

This is one of our most favourite keto frosting recipes! It's an absolute must when decorating our keto cakes! You wouldn't know the diffence between this keto cream cheese recipe and your normal sugar filled icing.

Ingredients
-
150g Cream Cheese
-
70g Erythritol with Stevia
-
3-4 drops of Vanilla Stevia Drops
Directions
In a bowl, add the cream cheese and Erythritol
Add 3 drops of liquid Vanilla stevia
Using a hand whisk, whisk vigorously, until the icing is smooth and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes
If you have an electric whisk, that’s even better! Start at a low speed and gradually increase the speed until it’s fluffy
Spoon the icing onto your cakes and spread onto the top. Alternatively, you can use a piping bag.
